You deserve a safe place where you can belong, regain your wholeness, and set down roots.

Meet Kelsey
a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC) serving adults in Washington state.
License # LH61098487
I provide tele-health psychotherapy only
for people aged 18+ at this time.

Issues & populations I treat
LGBTQIA+
I have lived & clinical experience working with queer community members. I bring sensitivity to the complexity & innate struggles of living in our world right now.
Neurodivergence
I love working with folks on the spectrum and people experiencing attention-deficit and hyperactivity symptoms. Life is hard enough already, having a brain which works differently can be a real challenge.
Emerging Adults
From eighteen to twenty-five is the emergence into adulthood. This time in our lives can be challenging. Each person experiences becoming an adult differently, but having support makes a big difference.
Polyamorous Folks
Polyamory holds specific relational and attachment challenges. There’s still a lot of hidden bias about people practicing consensual non-monogamy and therapists are no exception. It’s really important that you don’t have to educate your therapist while getting support.
Kink & BDSM
I am a kink-aware & sex-positive therapist. It’s important for you to be able to talk about this dimension of your life with someone who is kink-informed without being labeled or pathologized.
Therapy for people who practice BDSM often involves exploring the intersections of their desires, boundaries, and identities in a safe and non-judgmental container.
Trans & Non-binary
Therapy for trans & nonbinary people provides a safe and affirming space to explore gender identity and personal experiences. It offers support in navigating societal challenges while fostering self-acceptance and resilience.
Anxiety
Therapy can provide individuals with anxiety a safe space to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies tailored to their unique experiences. By fostering self-awareness and resilience, therapy empowers clients to navigate their challenges and promote emotional well-being.
Depression
Therapy can help individuals with depression by providing a compassionate listener to process their feelings and thoughts with. Additionally, therapeutic techniques can equip individuals with coping strategies and tools to get out of the darkness of depression and back into their lives.
Trauma
Trauma refers to an individual's emotional response to distressing events that can have lasting impacts on their mental health and well-being. Therapy, particularly Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), can effectively help individuals process and heal from trauma responses and restore equilibrium.

Paying for therapy
-
I take Premera Blue Cross & Kaiser insurance at this time.
-
Contact your insurance company to ask if you have out-of-network behavioral health benefits by calling the phone number on the back of your card.
If you do, you may submit a claim for reimbursement for therapy services with me. I can provide you with a monthly receipt called a superbill. For information on how to submit batch claims using a superbill, please contact member services.
If this task is too time-consuming or difficult, there are third party services such as Reimbursify.com who can do this labor for you for a small fee.
-
You may use a health savings account to pay for therapy. Contact your administrator to find out more about your HSA.
Flexible spending accounts (FSA) may also be used for therapy costs. If you are unsure what your HSA and FSA benefits, contact your employee services or human resources department.
-
I ask that you give me 24 hours notice to cancel your appointment. If you cannot, you will be charged the full session fee.
I’m currently booking appointments Monday to Thursday
